Mouflon hunting in the Czech Republic is highly valued because of strong mouflons. From every 100 hunted trophies in the world, 80 trophies come from the Czech Republic.
The hunting season for mouflon starts at the beginning of July and lasts till the end of March. The best time for hunting the capital mouflon pieces is from July to the end of September.
In rutting season (from 20 October till the end of November) mouflons move many kilometers to find rutting mouflon ewe.
Mouflon hunting is organised by sitting or stalking. As this animal is active throughout the day, hunting by sitting during the day is usually successful. We recommend 3-5 hunting days.
